2. Data We Collect
During registration we collect: email address and username. Optionally, you may provide additional profile information (avatar, country, game role, social media links). We automatically log standard technical data: IP address, browser data, and platform activity (votes, comments).
3. Purpose of Processing
We process your data to: provide platform services (account, voting, comments), ensure security and content moderation, perform statistical traffic analysis (Vercel Analytics — anonymous data), and communicate regarding your account.
4. League of Legends Player Data
Player profiles (Riot ID, stats, match history, profile icon) are fetched from the public Riot Games API upon user request. This data is publicly available through the official Riot Games API. LOLDOGS is not affiliated with or endorsed by Riot Games.
5. Data Sharing
We do not sell or share personal data with third parties for marketing purposes. Data may only be passed to technical service providers necessary for platform operation (hosting, database) and law enforcement based on applicable law.
6. Data Retention
Account data is retained for the duration of the account. Upon account deletion, personal data is removed within 30 days, except where required by law. Comments and votes may be anonymized rather than deleted.
7. Your Rights (GDPR)
Under GDPR you have the right to: access your data, correct inaccurate data, erase data (right to be forgotten), restrict processing, data portability, and object to processing. To exercise these rights, contact us at kontakt@loldogs.lol.
8. Cookies
We use only necessary cookies for managing logged-in user sessions (NextAuth.js). We do not use cookies for tracking or advertising.
